Things are in full race mode.  With vet check 3/4 and then the musher meeting on 3/5 things are heating up.  Nerves are growing as is the stress.  The minor things really matter now and they are piling up. 

The team has never looked better however.  I have some young stars in the team this year and hope to see the majority of them cross the finishline in Nome. 

Please follow our progress this year and I will post and update on the race once I get home. Until then happy trails and keep smiling.

My brother Michael finished 6th in the Jr. Iditarod last weekend and finished with all 10 dogs.  The team looked great crossing the finish line and gave me a little better idea what I have to work with in my team.
